2009 Scholarships Available Already

Some organizations don’t waste much time like Fastweb. I opened my personal email account to find out that everybody that logins to their fastweb account today January 1st will be entered in a scholarship contest. Now thats what I’m talking about a 100% easy scholarship. All you have to do is login for your shot at a $2,009 Scholarship. What a way to kick off a new year. And if you are new to fastweb what a way to be entered into your first scholarship competition. You just can’t go wrong with this. I definitely logged into my account shortly after reading that email. Becuase what I have found with scholarships is that it is the ones you don’t expect to get that you get and the scholarships you think you are going to get you don’t end up getting.

Now there are already 2009 Scholarship Books available. I have included a few books below for those who are interested in buying any.

Also as mentioned before you can write down the name and author of a book and go find it at Borders or Barnes and Noble and sit there and read through it. If you are going to do this make sure you bring a pen and a paper to write some info down. Also please be curtious to others who may want to buy the book! One more tip about finding scholarships I know this may sound weird but I often check through the classfieds and Career Builder has been providing a small newspaper section that list jobs and scholarships, internships and fellowships. Briefly I’ll explain internships and Fellowships. An internship is provided to a student or adult as a job without pay or benefits. It makes your resume look great and it opens up job opportunites for you in the futuer by allowing you to network with people. A Fellowship is along the same lines as an internship except your agreement can include some college tuition (partial or full) in turn for your working with that company or organization. Anyhow these offers are often listed in the Career Builder newspaper. Now I’m in CT so I don’t know what parts of the country this paper is available in but I would recommend atleast looking into their newspaper and the classified section of your local newspaper.

One thing I do realize when I see scholarship offers for 2009 is Scholarship Deadlines. Many deadlines are this month, between the 15th and the 31st of January. So if you haven’t submitted or your waiting for more letters of recommendation you better get on it immediately. And if you have submitted all of your papers then the best of luck to you! Some scholarships have deadlines that are usually in May or April. There are offers that I get in my fastweb account that have deadlines monthly.

Last but not least be on the look out for many other scholarship contest as simple as the “fastweb” login contest. Don’t waste anytime searching for scholarships begin immediately. And don’t pay for a scholarship search when you can use a free scholarship search. Thank you for your continued support.
